The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital's Third Virtual Grand Rounds Series is designed to improve how physiatrists handle a range of medical problems affecting their patients. In particular, the program is focused on enhancing the knowledge and clinical practice related to the following: Sport and Physical Activity for People with Disabilities, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) /Motor Neuron Disease, Shoulder Injuries in the Overhead Thrower, Improving Treatments for Cyclists, Traumatic Brain Injury and Interventional Spine Steroids.
This program will use an interactive web-based platform to broadcast the live one-hour presentations offered monthly beginning in January 2015 through July 2015. Each live broadcast includes an interactive Question & Answer session with the faculty.
