The Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) provides ethical and scientific review and continuing oversight of all Spaulding research that involves human subjects.
The SRH IRB is composed of at least five (5) members with varying backgrounds to promote complete and adequate review of human-subjects research and clinical investigations commonly conducted at the institutions. The members include individuals with the necessary experience and scientific or scholarly expertise and knowledge of the local research context to review the scope of biomedical and behavioral research conducted at SRH. Members include both men and women, as well as members of minority groups.
